A classic northern loop through the Karakoram — Hunza's forts and Attabad Lake, then Skardu's lakes and the Deosai plains. Best May–October.

   Day 1 · Islamabad

   Arrive Islamabad

   Airport pickup, hotel check-in and a trip briefing over dinner.

2. 2

   Day 2 · Karimabad

   Drive to Hunza via Karakoram Highway

   Full day on the KKH with stops at Besham and Chilas; overnight in Karimabad.

3. 3

   Day 3 · Karimabad

   Hunza forts & Eagle's Nest

   Baltit and Altit forts, Duikar viewpoint at sunset over Rakaposhi and Ladyfinger.

4. 4

   Day 4 · Gulmit

   Attabad Lake & Passu

   Boat ride on Attabad Lake, Passu Cones and the Hussaini suspension bridge.

5. 5

   Day 5 · Skardu

   Hunza to Skardu

   Scenic drive along the Indus to Skardu; evening at leisure by the river.

6. 6

   Day 6 · Skardu

   Shangrila, Kachura & Cold Desert

   Lower Kachura (Shangrila) Lake, Upper Kachura and the Katpana cold desert.

7. 7

   Day 7 · Islamabad

   Fly back / depart

   Morning flight to Islamabad (weather permitting) and onward departure.
